As part of our commitment to continuous growth and reflection, the E2 Academy team came together for a Strategic Planning Session on January 31, 2026. Together, we reflected on who we are as a school, refined our mission and values to better reflect our community, reaffirmed our long-term vision, and identified the priorities that will guide our future. The updated values below reflect the shared vision and direction that emerged from this work.

E2 Academy is dedicated to being a safe place for twice-exceptional children in Alberta, offering a unique, talent- and strength-based program that fosters a community where learners pursue their passions alongside a well-rounded curriculum. Guided by an educational philosophy that emphasizes individualized development and talent optimization, E2 Academy empowers each student to reach their full potential.

Our vision is to provide a school environment where 2e learners are welcomed, become members of a community of peers, and are encouraged to pursue their passions while still being exposed to a well-rounded curriculum.

Our Philosophy

The Board of Director's educational philosophy and approach in developing its program is to optimize each student’s intellectual, academic and social development by building on their strengths and emphasizing talent development, in addition to supporting the learner in finding strategies to manage their areas of challenge.
